Pro AV Solutions Supports Beaconhills College’s Beacon of Hope Foundation
Pro AV Solutions is proud to support the Beacon of Hope Foundation, an initiative led by Beaconhills College that helps expand access to education for communities beyond Australia.
The support forms part of a long-standing partnership between Pro AV Solutions and Beaconhills College that began more than a decade ago. Over the years, the two organisations have worked closely to deliver learning environments that support teaching and learning across the College’s campuses.
While the partnership has focused on technology and learning spaces, it is grounded in shared values that extend well beyond the classroom.
Supporting Education Initiatives in Bangladesh
Through the Beacon of Hope Foundation, Beaconhills College supports communities internationally, including long-standing initiatives with the Fred Hyde Schools in Bangladesh.
Recent projects have included the construction of new classrooms, the installation of insulated roofing to reduce extreme heat in kindergarten spaces, and raising playground areas to prevent flooding during monsoon season.
These practical improvements help ensure students can attend school safely and continue learning despite challenging conditions.
The Beacon of Hope Foundation also supports a number of initiatives within the broader community. Since its inception, the Foundation has funded scholarships and bursaries for students and supported community relief programs.
According to the Foundation’s Impact Report, more than $100,000 has been raised through the Community Education Support Fund, helping fund scholarships and financial assistance for students.
The report also highlights international community projects including school construction in Bangladesh and support for education programs in Timor-Leste. Pro AV Solutions is proud to support the Foundation as part of its long-term relationship with the College.

A Partnership Built Over Time
The relationship between Pro AV Solutions and Beaconhills College began more than ten years ago, with a shared understanding that technology should support education without disrupting it.
With more than 250 learning and specialist spaces across two campuses, the focus shifted to a broader question. How can the College continuously deliver high quality learning environments without disrupting day-to-day education?
Working closely with Chris Downer, Digital Projects Manager at the College, and with the support of Executive Principal Stephen McGinley and Business Manager David Young, a long-term strategy was developed.
"Rather than a one-off rollout of technology, the approach became a structured lifecycle refresh program. Similar to painting the Harbour Bridge, by the time one area is completed it is time to begin again. The objective is not replacement for the sake of change, but maintaining environments that remain reliable and aligned with evolving educational needs.", said Justin Gleeson.
Through careful planning, budgeting and staged deployment, learning spaces are refreshed over time without impacting everyday teaching and learning.
Today, Pro AV Solutions supports classrooms, science laboratories, arts spaces, auditoriums and theatre environments across both Beaconhills campuses. The result is consistent and reliable technology environments designed to support the student experience. Lifecycle planning ensures systems remain functional, relevant and ready to support staff and students every day.
