Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows 10: What You Need to Know Before End of Support
On 14 October 2025, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10. This includes Microsoft Teams Rooms devices that are running Windows 10.

What is changing
From October 2025, Windows 10 devices will:
• Stop receiving security updates, creating cybersecurity and compliance risks
• No longer have access to Microsoft technical support
• Experience compatibility issues with new Teams features and hardware integrations
Meeting spaces that continue running Windows 10 will not be secure or reliable for modern collaboration.

Which devices are affected
Not all Teams Rooms devices can be upgraded to Windows 11.

• Lenovo Think Hubs
• Older HP Elite Slices
Devices that are compatible with Windows 11:
• Poly NUCs
• Logitech NUCs
