Pro AV Solutions Named Finalist for Five Projects at the AVIA Awards 2026

Pro AV Solutions has been named a finalist for five projects at the 2026 Audio Visual Industry Awards (AVIAs), recognising work delivered across workplace, critical operations, simulation, health and education, and high-performance sport environments.
All five projects submitted by Pro AV Solutions were selected as finalists across the Commercial or Government and Education categories:
- Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Melbourne
- Transport for NSW, Transport Management Centre
- Smartship Australia, Full Mission Bridge 1
- UNSW Health Translation Hub
- South Australian Sports Institute (SASI)
The AVIAs recognise excellence and innovation in audiovisual project delivery across the Asia-Pacific region, with projects assessed on how effectively technology responds to the unique requirements of each environment.
Five projects recognised across Australia
The five shortlisted projects reflect the diversity of environments Pro AV Solutions supports and the different roles audiovisual technology plays across workplaces, operational facilities, research environments and specialist spaces.
Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Melbourne
Pro AV Solutions delivered the AV integration for Corrs Chambers Westgarth's Melbourne workplace at 120 Collins Street, creating a consistent technology experience across workplace and client-facing environments.
The project included collaboration spaces, boardrooms, seminar and hospitality environments, AV-over-IP distribution and extensive sound masking. Particular attention was given to integrating technology within the architectural design, with displays, microphones, speakers and other AV elements carefully incorporated into the surrounding finishes.
The project is a finalist for Best Application of AV in a Commercial or Government Installation, $1m–$5m.

Transport for NSW, Transport Management Centre
The upgrade of the Transport for NSW Transport Management Centre centred around one of the most operationally critical environments in the state.
Pro AV Solutions delivered the audiovisual scope for the Operations Room upgrade, including a new 23-metre curved rear-projection display environment supporting continuous transport operations.
The centre operates 24/7, bringing together live CCTV, monitoring feeds and operational information to support coordination across the NSW transport network, including incident response and major events.
The project is also a finalist for Best Application of AV in a Commercial or Government Installation, $1m–$5m.

Smartship Australia, Full Mission Bridge 1
For Smartship Australia's Full Mission Bridge 1, Pro AV Solutions delivered an upgrade to the specialist projection environment used for maritime simulation and training.
The project involved replacing the existing projection system and required precise projector positioning, alignment, geometric correction and blending to create the continuous visual environment required within the bridge simulator.
A move from the legacy portrait projection arrangement to a landscape configuration also allowed the system to reduce the number of projectors while maintaining the required visual coverage and supporting long-term maintainability.
Smartship Australia is a finalist for Best Application of AV in a Commercial or Government Installation, Over $5m.

UNSW Health Translation Hub
The UNSW Health Translation Hub represents one of the largest projects recognised for Pro AV Solutions this year.
The building-wide deployment spans nine floors and more than 130 meeting, teaching, collaboration and simulation spaces, alongside video collaboration capability across more than 950 workstations.
The project brings together room-based AV, AV-over-IP infrastructure, Microsoft Teams Rooms, visual display systems, audio and control technology across a diverse mix of environments.
A consistent control experience was also created across different underlying AV platforms, helping simplify how users interact with technology throughout the building.
The project is a finalist for Best Application of AV in Education, $1m–$10m.

South Australian Sports Institute
At the new South Australian Sports Institute High Performance Centre, Pro AV Solutions delivered AV integration across more than 45 technology-enabled spaces supporting high-performance sport, sports science, research and education.
The environment brings together SASI, the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing and UniSA, each with different operational and technology requirements.
The AV solution supports performance training spaces, sports science laboratories, university teaching and research rooms, meeting environments, collaboration spaces, digital signage and public-facing wayfinding, while also integrating with specialist sports performance technologies.
SASI is a finalist for Best Application of AV in Education, Over $10m.

Recognition of the teams behind the technology
While the five projects differ significantly in scale, purpose and technology, each required close collaboration between Pro AV Solutions teams, clients, consultants, construction partners and technology manufacturers.
Having all five submissions selected as finalists is recognition of that collective effort, as well as the breadth of technical capability being delivered by Pro AV Solutions teams around Australia.
The 2026 recognition also follows Pro AV Solutions' success at the 2025 AVIA Awards, where the company won Best Application of AV in a Commercial Project.
The winners of the 2026 AVIA Awards will be announced at Integrate on Wednesday, 2 September, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Tech Talks Theatre, ICC Sydney.
