Pro AV Solutions at Integrate 2019

Once again, we are delighted to be part of Integrate, Australia’s premier annual AV and Integration trade show. Pro AV Solutions will be hosting a Lunch & Learn session on the 27th and 28th of August to discuss the importance of breaking down silos to improve collaboration. Along with our Lunch & Learn sessions, we will also be hosting the Networking Cocktail Event of the year to gather our clients, vendors and staff together.

The Pro AV Solutions renowned Cocktail Party at Integrate is here! An exciting networking event where our vendors, clients and staff members gather together while having a delicious canapé and have a catch up. Expect to be blown away by the stunning Coral tank at the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium, while listening to the Baker Boys Band.
The evening will be followed by our Vendor Awards, a recognition and appreciation to our partners’ support throughout the years.

Leading business advisory firms are coaching business leaders that the only way to  survive in the modern era is to bust out of the old silos and adapt to survive. The sessions will be focused on reinventing workflows to achieve better collaboration outcomes. We will discuss strategies for technology, real state and culture building.

Julian Phillips is Executive Vice President at Whitlock, the US company for the Global Presence Alliance, and is a recognized visionary and thought leader across the AV/UC industry.  At Whitlock, he has responsibility for marketing, global business development, and the Modern Workplace, and Experience & Innovation business practices that leads their transformation to an “Experience” driven partner for their customers. He is also the recent outgoing President of the Audio Visual & Integrated Experiences Association (AVIXA), during which he played an integral role in its transformation and rebranding from a “technology” association (InfoComm), to one built around supporting human “experiences”.

Tegan Dobbie is the Regional Director of SA for IA Design, a proudly Australian-owned national design company who are committed to creating extraordinary environments that transform the way people live, work and play. After graduating from the University of South Australia with a Batchelor of Interior Architecture, Tegan started her career with IA Design before moving to GHD to experience the operations of a global company. However 2 years on, Tegan moved back to IA Design, having a better appreciation for a national company with a boutique studio vibe. Tegan has now been with IA Design for 10 years and leads an all-female design team. She specialises in workplace design as well as having experience in the design and delivery of retail, health, industrial and hospitality projects. Recently delivered Adelaide based projects include Pepsi’s head office, Haigh’s Chocolates head office and BAE Systems new city based office to accommodate over 250 staff. Tegan has a firsthand appreciation of how the workplace trends have evolved over the years from heavy office based to open plan to activity based and understands the drive behind each offering.

Graeme Scannell has over 20 years of experience in influencing andtransforming Workplaces.  Having lived and worked in the UK, Africa, The Middle East, Asia and now Australia, has informed Graeme’s global perspective on how the Workplace drives outcomes. Graeme sees the workplace as strategic tool that informs culture, drives productivity and creates exceptional experiences for employees.  Graeme recently switched from consultancy to an internal position within MYOB to deliver his passions from the inside by creating culturally aligned, experience led workplaces. One of Graeme’s career highlights includes transforming the workplaces for over 15,000 employees into an agile workplace, before the term ABW was conceived.

David is the co-founder and Managing Director of the Sydney based AV and technology consultancy firm Konnectus. He has been a part of the AV industry since 2005, which includes 11 years as a consultant. In his experience, delivering the best outcomes for customers is linked closely to obtaining a deep understanding of an organisation’s desired future state or their key issues that need solving. David also believes strongly in customising the technology to be intuitive and easy for its intended users. Since getting started in the AV industry David has been involved in the design, management, and delivery of more than 250 AV technology projects ranging from the small to very large.

Jon’s management experience over the last ten years includes senior advisory roles with top global and ASX companies. This includes leading brand experience and communication roll-outs, building teams and delivering change programs with leading professional services, commercial and government organisations. It also includes time as the innovation lead Manager at KPMG. He has delivered projects for clients throughout Australia, Asia Pacific & Europe.

Rashid is the President, CEO and Co-Chairman of Biamp Systems. He joined the company with the acquisition by Highlander Partners. Prior, Rashid served as President and CEO of AMX beginning in 2005. During his 15-year tenure at AMX, the company’s revenue and employee base grew rapidly through organic product expansions and nine global acquisitions.
Before joining AMX, Rashid was vice president and general manager of Nortel Networks Broadband Wireless Access (BWA). He joined Nortel when the company acquired Broadband Networks Inc. (BNI), where he served as executive director.
