THE BRIEF

Bedford CA is a boutique accounting firm of highly skilled business professionals specialising in taxation, business advisory and superannuation. Due to recent company growth and expansion, Bedford CA were relocating into a new office space located at 101 Miller St, North Sydney. Along with construction partner Sheldon, Pro AV Solutions were awarded the contract to deliver design and construct services for the new office fit-out.

The key objective for the project was to ensure there was a consistent user experience throughout all spaces. With existing Skype for Business service via Office 365, Microsoft integrated platforms were essential to the design of the new workplace technology. During a strategic analysis of the business and their objectives, it was discovered that a wired network connection was also crucial.

THE SOLUTION

Comprising of eight new AV spaces, the new office fit-out included two Small Meeting Rooms, two Huddle Spaces, one Joinable Space consisting of three rooms including a Large Meeting Room, Reception Area and Breakout Space. With Surface Pros as the preferred device for all staff, Microsoft Surface docks were installed to enable users to easily replicate what they used at their desk in diverse and collaborative spaces throughout the office.

Crestron control and room booking panels were proposed throughout the workspace to offer effective integration between rooms and to boost workspace efficiency. Due to the heavy reliance on the Microsoft environment at Bedford CA, Surface Hubs were deployed throughout the Small Meeting Rooms to promote a team-based collaborative culture through Skype for Business calls, whiteboarding and touch screen integration.

THE RESULTS

One of the most beneficial aspects to the success of the project was the early engagement of Pro AV Solutions.
