Ventia is a leading infrastructure services provider operating across Australia and New Zealand. The company delivers essential services across critical sectors including telecommunications, defence, transport, social infrastructure, water, gas, and electricity.
In 2024, Ventia established the Ventia Operations Centre (VOC) in Cremorne, VIC - a purpose-built, AV-integrated command centre designed to manage infrastructure services nationwide.
The VOC unifies several previously separate control rooms into a single, high-performance environment designed for real-time coordination, rapid crisis response and executive engagement.
This unified environment reflects Ventia’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Key Technologies

A 64:9 aspect ratio display offering immersive situational awareness, subdivided or unified to suit many purposes.

Dual MTR systems integrated across meeting zones with Huddly and PTZ cameras for internal and remote collaboration.

EASE-mapped audio design with pendant speakers, Shure microphones, Biamp DSP, and intuitive touch interfaces with layout presets.
Our Solutions
Pro AV Solutions worked closely with Ventia’s operations, ICT, and executive teams to design a centralised AV environment that could support 24/7 operations and mission-critical decision-making.
The system was built around clarity, usability, and scalability:
- A 16m-wide DiColor LED wall (7680×1080) supported by Novastar H15 frame-based switching.
- Integrated Microsoft Teams Room systems across executive and breakout zones.
- Five 103” Commbox interactive displays for collaboration and whiteboarding.
- Crestron DM video transport and CP4N processor for consistent, low-latency control.
- Touch panels with custom UI layouts to simplify mode changes between daily use, emergency response, and stakeholder visits.
- Novastar video processing, providing flexible video switching and routing across 60 available source inputs and 24 available outputs.
All systems were tailored through operator workshops, wireframing, and iterative testing to ensure ease of use under pressure.
Tailored AV Support
To maintain uptime and performance, Ventia engaged our AV Care team for structured support, firmware updates, and user training.
The plan includes proactive health checks, maintenance, and system refinements to ensure continuity across all operational zones.
