Customer Service Technician - Commercial Audio Visual

As a critical member of the Customer Service Team you will be assigned to one of Pro AV Solutions’ largest and most valued clients as a dedicated, on-site technical support resource.

Your ultimate responsibility is to ensure the client’s audio visual environments are fully operational, always available and continue to be an engaging and highly dependent operational service to the customer. 

In addition to a fundamental understanding of commercial audio visual integration solutions, you will be an exceptional communicator, consummate professional and be an ambassador at all times for the business and a proactive, advocate for the client.


  • Reactive break/fix, response and resolution obligations in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Receive, lodge and administer support cases via Pro AV Solutions’ Support Helpdesk.
  • Undertake proactive maintenance and support services activities.
  • Provide technical support during significant presentations and meetings.
  • Adhere to all necessary documentation, processes and procedures.
  • Proactive communication and collaboration with 3rd party personnel.
  • Provide services and activities that meet “excellence in service”.
  • Identify and plan remediation and refresh works in partnership with Pro AV Solutions’ Account Management Team.

Success Criteria;

  • Similar, prior role or aligned responsibilities and experience.
  • Proven technical understanding of integrated control systems fundamentals, signal transports types, video conferencing, matrix switchers, DSP’s, display and audio.
  • Knowledge of Vendors such as AMX, Crestron, Extron, Cisco and Polycom would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated competencies in effective trouble shooting procedures and approaches.
  • Articulate communicator, verbally and written with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and provide excellence in customer service
  • Demonstrate initiative, the ability to work under pressure and be able to work autonomously.
  • The ability to articulate and accurately document faults and the process taken to resolve.
  • Strong work ethic with aligned company values and clear aspirations for development.
  • A valid C-Class (manual) Driver's license

Audio Visual Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven professional to join our Sales team. The person that we require for this role will be professional in every aspect, an excellent presenter, a good listener and most importantly driven by a personal desire to succeed. Someone who has operated within an Audio Visual (AV), Video Conference (VC) or IT sales account management, business development or sales role within Perth for the past 5 year would be a highly desirable addition to our operation.

The successful candidate must have:
  • Strong skills and experience in account management, BDM, sales skills and commercial business acumen specifically within the AV, VC or IT industry

  • The ability to build and maintain sound working relationships with clients and provide excellence customer service
  • The ability to generate your own sales proposals and system designs
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be able to keep clients and management alike updated with the status of your proposals
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in order to meet critical client deadlines

To be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the corporate audio visual industry. The successful candidate must have:
  • An understanding of audio visual systems and products including AMX, Crestron, and Polycom
  • Experience with commissioning and programming of audio, video and control systems, including video conferencing equipment
